The King Suite
The largest room type: a king bed, a separate living room, one and a half bathrooms and a large two-person Roman bathtub.
2.3.1What the hotel lists
- Non-smoking.
- King-sized plush pillow-top bed.
- Living room.
- One and a half baths featuring a large two-person Roman bath tub.
- Individually controlled heating and air-conditioning system.
- Two 32″ LCD televisions.
- Keurig coffee machine.
- Iron and ironing board.
- Microwave.
- Alarm clock.
- Mini-fridge.
The hotel's sentence about it: “Sleep peacefully in our luxurious king size pillow top beds, relax in the two-person Roman tub, or unwind in the spacious living room area.”

2.3.2What “one and a half baths” means
In North American hotel and real-estate language, a half bath is a room with a toilet and a washbasin but no shower or tub. So the suite has one full bathroom — the one with the Roman tub — and a second, smaller washroom. For two people getting ready for a reception at the same time, that second washroom is the real luxury.
2.3.3When the suite is worth asking for
- Anniversaries and birthdays. The tub and the living room are the two things a standard room cannot offer.
- Pre-show gatherings. A living room lets four or five friends meet before walking down to the Showroom without crowding a bed.
- Stays of three nights or more. A second television and a place to sit that is not the bed make a longer stay easier.
- Wedding party. The couple or the people getting ready can use the suite as a base on the day of a Showroom reception.
2.3.4What to confirm before you commit
- How many suites exist — the hotel does not say, and with 26 rooms in total there may be very few.
- Whether the tub is a jetted tub or a deep soaking tub; the hotel's word is “Roman”, which describes shape, not jets.
- Whether a sofa bed is in the living room; it is not listed, so do not assume it.
- The maximum number of guests allowed to sleep in the suite.
Write any of these in the form and our desk will put the question to the hotel or the booking partner. You get the answer in writing before anything is confirmed.
