What an annual report tells a hotel guest

Written 1 November 2026. Century Casinos, Inc. files an annual report with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Form 10-K. It turned out to be the best single source for this handbook.

Section checked against sources on 31 October 2026. Independent guide — not the hotel's website.

10.4.1Why we read it

Hotel websites are written to sell. Booking pages repeat the hotel's copy. A Form 10-K is written for investors and filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and false statements in it carry legal consequences. That makes it dull reading and a very good source of plain numbers. The report for 2025 was filed on 18 March 2026.

10.4.2Seven facts we found there and nowhere else

  1. The room count. 26 hotel rooms as of 31 December 2025. The hotel's own pages do not give a number.
  2. The garage size. About 300 spaces in the complimentary heated underground garage, plus about 600 surface spaces.
  3. The size of the stages. A 10,700 sq ft showroom of about 500 seats and a 3,000 sq ft room of about 200 seats used by Yuk Yuk's.
  4. The opening year. 2006.
  5. The site. About 6.0 acres, with a casino area of about 24,685 sq ft.
  6. Who owns the property. Subsidiaries of VICI PropCo own the real estate; Century leases it under a master lease.
  7. How the operator sees its market. “One of two casinos in the city of Edmonton with a hotel and showrooms” and the only one with a complimentary heated garage — its own claim, against five competitors in the Edmonton market.

10.4.3Where the report and the website disagree

Differences between the filing and the hotel's marketing
TopicForm 10-KHotel website
Gaming machines792, including VLTs (31 Dec 2025)“830+” (Jun 2026)
Live tables23“20+”, and elsewhere “over 30”
Comedy roomAbout 200 seatsYuk Yuk's says 120
BarsA sports bar and lounge plus two additional bars“Three fashionable bars”

Some differences are timing — the filing counts on 31 December, the website changes whenever it is edited. Some are layout. And some are simply marketing rounding up. When numbers differ, we print the filing's figure and show the other beside it.

10.4.4What the report does not tell you

10.4.5How you can check our reading

The report is public. Items 1 and 2 describe the properties; the Edmonton property appears under the Canada segment. Our source list links to the filing on sec.gov. If you find a figure we have misread, tell us and we will correct it with a note.

For anything about booking, the hotel's official site and our request desk are the practical routes.Official site: cnty.com/edmonton ↗
