§ 7.1

Pool, spa and gym: none listed, one nearby

Many casino hotels have a pool. This one, as far as its own pages show, does not. Here is what we checked and the nearest place to swim or work out.

Section checked against sources on 31 October 2026. Independent guide — not the hotel's website.

7.1.1What we checked

  1. The hotel page and all three room pages. They list beds, televisions, coffee machines and fridges. No pool, spa, sauna or fitness room is mentioned.
  2. The home page and the groups pages. They describe the casino, the Showroom, Yuk Yuk's, the restaurants, private rooms and conference space. Again, no leisure facility.
  3. The operator's annual report. Its description of the Edmonton property lists the casino, hotel rooms, restaurant, bars, showrooms, off-track betting and parking. No leisure facility appears in that list.

An absence on a website is not a statement, so we class this finding as medium confidence. If the hotel adds a facility, we will update this page; if you know of one, write to hello@fortroadhotelguide.com.

Nearest LRTClareview station

The centre is near Clareview station, the stop after Belvedere at the northern end of the line, so it is one train stop or a short drive from the hotel. Admission is charged by the City; we do not print prices because they change and are not ours to quote.

7.1.3How guests use it

  1. Morning swim before a drive. The weekday opening at 5:30 am suits an early start.
  2. A rest day on a long stay. The lazy river and leisure pool are the closest thing to a resort pool in this part of the city.
  3. Running in winter. A 171-metre indoor track avoids icy pavements.
  4. Families. The tot pool is a city facility open to all ages — unlike the casino and the comedy club in the hotel building.

7.1.4In the room instead

If a full gym is not essential, the hotel's King Suite lists a large two-person Roman tub, which is the only soaking option we found on the property. Section 2.3 describes it.

If the hotel adds leisure facilities, its official site will list them first.Official site: cnty.com/edmonton ↗
